Y'all know I'm anti-brony, but now its really gone too far. All you bronies here (you know who you are) need to go out into the world and start working. Stop leaching off everyone else. Your pony role models have jobs or are at school. I suggest you do the same.

EvilHomer - 2011-07-18

You tell 'em, Cena Mark.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-07-20

haha, I like you, new Cena.

Xenocide - 2011-07-17

This is really classic Fox reporting. Take two completely unrelated stories (bronies exist; fat diaper moron gets government money) and connect them just because you can, pulling imaginary facts out of the ether as you go.

It's funny when they do it here because it's a dumb topic that doesn't really matter, but then you realize they've been doing this for a decade on issues of actual importance and we're all so used to it that we practically don't even notice it at this point.

IrishWhiskey - 2011-07-17

The first part by itself pissed me off. Either that kid has a real disability and the reporter's engaging in slander by claiming otherwise, or it's fraud and they should have ended that story by saying 'we forwarded the tapes and interviews to the SSA, here's a tipline number so you can report fraud.'

But of course examining the validity of the claim would have required some nuanced reporting, and not mindless ranting about society and youth over 30 seconds of B-roll with no concern for facts.

Cena_mark - 2011-07-17

This isn't Fox reporting, its some small time radio personality ranting on a local news show.

Caminante Nocturno - 2011-07-17

If you look carefully at this clip, you can actually see old media dying.

Cena_mark - 2011-07-17

Get a job. You could be an apple bucker, fashion designer, or take care of small animals.

elmo oxygern - 2011-07-17

I think I missed a memo somewhere. Are bronies really a thing?

themilkshark - 2011-07-17

Everything's a thing.

Xenocide - 2011-07-17

The expression "is X a thing?" is actually not a thing.

Technically, it should be, but we decided that would be too meta.

fatatty - 2011-07-17

I have a friend who un-ironically buys My Little Ponies and displays them on his bookshelf with his painted D&D figures.

I thought he was alone...but maybe not.

IrishWhiskey - 2011-07-17

I AM OUTRAGED AT THESE FACTS THAT I INVENTED!
SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING TO KEEP MY IMAGINATION FROM BOTHERING ME!

glasseye - 2011-07-17

THERE ARE FURRIES AND ADULT BABIES
THEREFORE THE WELFARE SYSTEM IS RUINING OUR COUNTRY
OUTRAGE BLARGH HURF BLURF

Cena_mark - 2011-07-17

I'll admit that this radio host is retarded, yet he's still right about bronies and man babies.

Born in the RSR - 2011-07-17

This is basically that Ren and Stimpy Anthony's Dad shtick. Blarg Blarg Blarg... I am manly they are not! They are ruining good ol'Amehrcuh!!

So what? The gender separation line in society is getting blurrier as time goes by, I think that's a good thing. Now I wonder if they would be so harsh on grown female GI Joe or Transformers fans or for that matter grown male GI Joe and Transformers fans.

spikestoyiu - 2011-07-17

We're talking about adult males that are into My Little Pony, right? And call themselves "bronies"? Right?

Xenocide - 2011-07-17

Bronies? BRONIES? You're not looking at the big picture!

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2011-07-17

five stars because I thought bronies had to be a made up thing.

I blame Chuck Klosterman for all of this.

Born in the RSR - 2011-07-17

This site has taught us to assume the worse in these sort of situations, namely that all of these people only watch this show to jack off.

Now, I haven't seen anything about this new My Little Pony outside of what's posted on this site but if they took a stupid toy tie-in concept and made it into something actually entertaining good for them and I hope they're as successful as possible.

Xenagama Warrior Princess - 2011-07-17

I feel that I am the only living being now that hasn't submitted to the equine disease you call "Bronies". Perhaps a vaccine can be made from my hemoglobin since it is pumped through the veins by my dark, cold heart.

I expect my Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine soon.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2011-07-17

Just to clear some things up:

I looked up the actual program that you see clips from here on the Babyman: no where is it said that he collects disability; in fact it specifically says he works but he is not in "babymode" at work. Secondly, where is the source of bronies collecting disability because of their stupid fandom?

This is why I hate local news.

spikestoyiu - 2011-07-18

Dude's name is Stanley and at least he used to collect disability. I'm not sure what you watched, but the clips used here are from an episode of "Taboo" where he clearly states himself that he is on disability, as is his "nanny".

http://gawker.com/5803413/stanley-the-adult-baby-investigated- for-social-security-fraud

dairyqueenlatifah - 2011-07-18

Yeah, that's what I watched. Maybe I wasn't paying full attention? It was about a month ago, and I swear I recall him talking about his job and no mention of disability, but I do recall them talking about his "nanny" collecting disabilitty due to her morbid obesity. I'll take your word for it though, since I can't be assed to sit through it again.

But that doesn't explain the bronies collecting disability because of their My Little Pony fetish claim. I think that one was just pulled out of someone's ass.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-04-15

"I think I'd rather go to work every day".

said the man whose job was making up bullshit to read on the air.
