Damn kids these days don't know how to debug nothing.

Examine the HTML, you'll notice that the auto-inserted "BR" tag is showing as "B R", with a space in the middle. That's the auto-inserted space, the one that normally breaks URLs. Except in this case it happened to fall in the middle of the tag, such that your browser thinks it's a "B" tag with a mysterious "R" property.

So_enter_a_64_character_string_without_any_spaces_and_hit_ente r.
Voila!

Off by two, dammit. But you get the idea.

Adding the formatting before inserting the spaces must have taken a serious amount of work. I'll bet somebody noticed what happens with the tags and special cased a bunch of them, but missed BR.

Seriously, that must have been a lot of horrid, useless work.

Of course, I've also written some really unholy things that would have been 5 lines in a template engine. Or 3 in Ruby. PHP brings out the worst in people.
