It was me. I did it.

CIWB - 2011-03-05

I like how she whispers "atheists" like it's a curse word.

P.S. A collection of middle-eastern desert tribesemen and Imperial Roman rabble-rousers wrote the Bible.

CharlesSmith - 2011-03-05

Knowing these types she probably means the King James Version, which means you can throw in a bus-load of scholars from the early Church of England.

fourthguy - 2011-03-05

Was she trolling/joking? Maybe I've just been spending too much time on the internet, but her whole act just seems deliberately over-the-top and fake to me. That and the actual question itself is just too stupid for me to believe even on its own. Or was that the whole point of submitting this? Are we supposed to be laughing with her or at her? I don't even know what the fuck's going on. Five for Poe's Law I guess.

Bort - 2011-03-05

It seems over-the-top and fake to you because you've got a sense of perspective on history and authorship. Think of it this way: there are a hell of a lot of people today who think that the Bible was written as book of prophecy, and therefore Revelation was intended to address happenings in the 21st century. If you've got any shred of perspective on how the Bible was composed, you know that's preposterous, and also you are in a minority in this country.

I would recommend introducing this girl to Slagathor's blog, but it's gone now. (Slagathor, please bring it back; it didn't update often, but when it did I enjoyed it.)

takewithfood - 2011-03-05

She has some videos on her channel that are a little more obviously trollish/satire. Such as asking why scientists don't believe in god if they're looking for "his particle", with the trademark "think about that" a the end. Still, she walks the line pretty well.

Wander - 2011-03-05

Slag posted on News that he took it down because he found some flaws in it, and that he is going through to make sure he gets out any errors he can find before he puts it up again, so it'll be back.

Naugaskins - 2011-03-05

The preload image looks like she's going to choke herself.

kingofthenothing - 2011-03-05

That's about as dumb as saying something like "If God doesn't exist... who invented math?"

takewithfood - 2011-03-05

If God doesn't exist, who invented circular logic?

Time Travel Mishap - 2011-03-05

If god doesn't exist...why does my name work as a description for every video I have ever posted

Anaxagoras - 2011-03-05

Think about that.

pastorofmuppets - 2011-03-05

This video has now fulfilled its purpose, which was to get takewithfood to come up with that post.

Mother_Puncher - 2011-03-05

I've been coming across a few female trolls on youtube as of late. This one is a little more obvious than the others but I bet the YT comments are a shitstorm

Samisyosam - 2011-03-05

Someone followed up on this and tried to have a real conversation with her over the internet. Eventually she found that this girl had been posting on landover baptist forum threads under another name. Kinda gives it away, but you gotta admit this is a pretty good trolling attempt.

themilkshark - 2011-03-05

Uhhh, Mary wrote the bible. Or was it Joseph? Probably the 3 wise men, you know, teamwork.

charmlessman - 2011-03-05

I NEVER considered that. Welp, time to get to church.

StanleyPain - 2011-03-05

It's possible she's trolling, looking at her videos on YT, but then...it's virtually impossible to tell nowadays.

kingarthur - 2011-03-06

Nice troll, youngster.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2011-03-06

Star Wars took place a long time ago, so I'm guessing C3PO, cause he never shuts up and it sure as fuck weren't the Ewoks, those fuckers can't read for shit.

heyitslozeau - 2011-03-10

They wrote their names on the chapters for the most part.

IrishWhiskey - 2012-02-09

In the same way that Bilbo wrote his name on The Hobbit. None of the gospels were written by the actual disciples. Paul is the only first-hand author, and he isn't a disciple or gospel.

CornOnTheCabre - 2012-10-31

Bilbo IS a hobbit. Think about that.
