Us in Wisconsin are teaching Walker what "overreach" means

pineapplejuicer - 2011-02-20

give em hell oswald

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2011-02-20

It's classic majority party overreach: Walker mistook "mandate" for "I can do anything I want". Like when FDR tried to pack the Supreme Court. I was at the Capitol Friday night and most of Saturday and it's pretty inspiring to see so many people dedicated to not letting that happen.

Walker's mistake was to go so far so early in his term: one good thing about this fiasco, no matter how it turns out for the union, is that Walker is basically toast. He won't be able to buy a box of fucking staples for his office until the inevitable recall election that kicks him out.

Pixel McStencilbuffer - 2011-02-20

Oooon, Wisconsin, oooooon, Wisconsin, grand old badger staaaate!

But seriously, this whole deal has shown everything I hate and everything I love about my state. Democratic senators just said "Don't want to play nice? Fine, we're leaving till you decide to act like adults."

Word is they're holed up in a motel in Rockford, IL.

Also, suck my balls, Scott Walker

FABIO - 2011-02-21

Oh wow just looked up Walker.

As soon as I saw his picture the first thought that crossed my mind was "There is no way this guy wasn't a total young republican student government prick in college".

Then I read his wikipedia article and according to it he ran for student president but lost when the paper wouldn't endorse him because of "campaign violations".

Good to see I'm so always right about everything.

Eh, it took THREE more elections over the next 7 years before he was toast.

Shitty Republicans love this shit, and Wisconsin has a LOT of shitty Republicans.

Wander - 2011-02-20

I'm swooning over here.

VoilaIntruder - 2011-02-20

Dude, reps from other more populated states really need to chill out and stop picking on Wisconsin. It's really getting to him and everyone is beginning to worry.

themilkshark - 2011-02-20

Thanks for giving a shit, guy.

The Mothership - 2011-02-20

Well, yea!

kwash - 2011-02-20

He's gone full Weiner.

Colonel Cowlung - 2011-02-20

Pretty sweet, but he should have closed it with the Anthony Weiner mic slam.

Chip - 2011-02-20

Awesome. This guy is what democracy looks like.

CharlesSmith - 2011-02-21

You don't know how true that statement is, because this guy looks to me like impotent rage.

Corpus Delectable - 2011-02-20

These stars are for Good. Sorry, Evil, try again some other day.

Nikon - 2011-02-20

Fuck yeah! Preach it!

memedumpster - 2011-02-20

Rock on, Beavis.

TheOtherCapnS - 2011-02-20

Nice one, Jason Segel with less hair!

Mike Tyson?! - 2011-02-20

Ha ha the YouTube comments. They are fantastic on this one.

cognitivedissonance - 2011-02-20

They've got us by the balls and guys like this were asleep at the switch when they were worried they wouldn't be seen with an American Flag pin. Too little, too late.

garcet71283 - 2011-02-21

Now lets apply this logic to healthcare reform.

cognitivedissonance - 2011-02-21

Die in a fire.

Bort - 2011-02-21

Why should we? Not all causes are equal; taking away the right to collective bargaining calls for a greater degree of outrage than making sure insurance companies actually pay for services they promised to. Sure, a lot of people were up in arms about ObamaCare, but only because they were stupid enough to believe any stupid thing they heard on Fox News.
