I haven't played this yet, but here's how you beat Tatsunoko VS Capcom with Ippatsuman.

1- When the match begins, call your robot.

2- Push B.

3- The screen explodes.

4- Your opponent is now dead. His partner will come out.

5- Call your robot.

This will give you lots of time to wonder who the crap Ippatsuman is.

So is there a solid, good reason to play this game? I thought 2d Fighters were always gimmicky on newer systems.

Innocent Bystander - 2011-02-19

He sure convinced me that is not a white, geeky console dude and I'm sure he gets plenty of girls all the damn time.

How to not be funny making a MvC3 vid: Step 1. Set difficulty to easiest, step 2. Pick any high tier character with a beam weapon, step 3. Fire beam weapon at terrible CPU opponent until you win.

CJH - 2011-02-19

you got the joke!

Udderdude - 2011-02-19

So the joke was that it wasn't funny? What?

CJH - 2011-02-19

The purpose of this guy's video is to troll Marvel Vs Capcom fanboys by doing exactly what you said. What makes it evil is all the awful nerd 'humor' that goes along with it. To watch this video and come away thinking 'hey that's not actually a complicated strategy at all!' is to miss the point.

FABIO - 2011-02-19

HIGH TIER FIGHTING CHARACTERS RUIN JOKES!!!

MrBuddy - 2011-02-20

I knew something was wrong when Wolverine couldn't beat a Sentinel.

Udderdude - 2011-02-20

No MvC fanboys would rage over this. Nobody gives a shit about single player in fighting games. Make a video where he does nothing but this with Sentinel in a ranked online match and it might get some rage, though.

Jericho - 2011-02-19

This should have been one minute long.

Riskbreaker - 2011-02-19

So, this game is about as broken as previous one? Why vg companies still bother doing fighting games anyway, the genre hit it's peak years ago.

StanleyPain - 2011-02-19

MvC isn't a very serious game, despite what its insane, aspergian fanboys would like to think. The whole point was just juvenile pairings of comic and video game characters doing insane over the top bullshit with an emphasis on gorgeous, fluid animation and utter ridiculousness. MvC3 was supposed to be a return to that and, other than a smaller character roster, it seems to have delivered the goods. This game isn't deep or complex or any of that shit, really, it's just mean to be crazy.

Riskbreaker - 2011-02-19

Don't get me wrong, i love my fighting games being over the top and wacky. I liked the first MvC, but the second is just way too broken and poorly done to be enjoyable. Having the other characters being able to appear to help at any time makes the game an ADHD nightmare.

Udderdude - 2011-02-20

MvC 2 might have been a fluke in terms of high level play, but you can bet that Capcom planned MvC 3 to be tournament viable from the beginning. Street Fighter 4's huge tournament scene pretty much guaranteed that.

He's versing Dante.

Jeriko-1 - 2011-02-20

Fuck em for not making Nemesis playable.
