Poor Kisaragi.

Poor, poor Kisaragi.

fedex - 2011-01-25

Metasonix, meet Caminante.

1394 - 2011-01-25

Nope!

Jericho - 2011-01-25

I can believe it.

Meatsack Jones - 2011-01-25

That you are missing 4 stars? That's okay, here they are for you.

Cyberblah - 2011-01-25

The milk-bleeding giant teddy bear from Akira was more twisted. Especially since the only interesting part of this sequence was edited out.

Also, this isn't remotely work safe.

Pillager - 2011-01-25

Not a bad way to kill 8 minutes.

Urburos - 2011-01-25

Meh.

fedex - 2011-01-25

"vectors"...pfft....too lazy to draw real doc-ock arms is more like it!

a flaming monkey - 2011-01-25

Not too lazy. Cell animation costs shitloads of money, which is why all recent anime is 90% stillframes and closeups on armpits.

a flaming monkey - 2011-01-25

I do like it how they continue to use guns despite their obvious uselessness. It seems strange to me that the naked lady kills the obviously defenseless moron who seemed to be carrying a tray of tea into a warzone, and then walks straight past the guy who seems to be directing all the hapless guards to kill her. Animoo logic?

Cyberblah - 2011-01-25

Either immediately before this or edited out of it (I forget), they spend a minute or two establishing tea girl as a stereotypical ditzy anime girl, who is clumsy and likes some guy and is embarrassed about it, etc. She's the only person in the whole place they do that with.

jangbones - 2011-01-25

anime sucks

NewHeavenSalesman - 2011-01-25

elfin lied is for 14-year-old boys ready to take it to the next level past dbz and are too stupid to know about berserk

Rovin - 2011-01-25

It's like someone thought, "Hey, you know what? Remember that bit in Lifeforce where the nekkid girl gets off the table and just sort of goes through the place unstoppably? Don't you think that would have been more fun with a helmet and a lot of random and really bloody decapitations and eviscerations?"

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-01-25

This series was stupidly violent and had ridiculous amounts of boobs and cat girls. So yeah, par for the course for anime crap. And yeah, I do like some anime, but nothing that shows up on this site, somehow.

Caminante Nocturno - 2011-01-25

What about Panty & Stocking?

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-01-25

hahaha, okay, fine.

flotsam - 2011-01-25

The plot of this series sounded good in writing, until I got to the part where they're all nineteen year old catgirls.

TimidAres - 2011-01-25

it was ok.

still like Akira better.

Innocent Bystander - 2011-01-25

oh man how shocked I am at how "twisted" that was

Macho Nacho - 2011-01-25

NO.

Nikon - 2011-01-25

I liked the show okay, but it had a horrible dub.

vissarion - 2011-01-25

The sniper sounds like Billy Quizboy.

longwinded - 2011-01-25

yeah, I... no

oddeye - 2011-01-25

Don't think she is capable of destroying large heavy objects nor things further than 2m from her right?

So why not just put a giant springloaded hammer that would splat her dead in the corridor that is the ONLY DAMN EXIT from her prison?

Or have snipers over at the other end sinced she can't stop a .50cal

Her escape could have easily been prevented if the guy who made the base had played some dwarf fortress beforehand.

Sputum - 2011-01-25

This is literally the only good sequence of the entire series. I felt so cheated a few years ago when, after seeing this, I downloaded more episodes only to find that it was the epitome of all of the anime tropes I hate.

One star because it reminds me that I used to actively watch anime and that makes me feel bad about myself.

Corman's Inferno - 2011-01-25

I still enjoy anime occasionally. This was not one of those times.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2011-01-25

Breathtaking.

Valkor - 2011-01-25

This is one of the grossest things.

Dirty Sanchez - 2011-01-26

If this was 1997, this would be pretty twisted.

Influence Device TIMR - 2011-01-27

I love anime!

one star

TheInternetisFullofGenitals - 2015-04-21

I liked this anime. It was seriously dark, but that made the happy moments all the more brighter. And twisted is being kind. There's the part where Lucy straight up murders Kohta's dad and little sister. Or how about Lucy's entire childhood. Especially the part where bullies kill the puppy she was taking care of in secret after the girl she thought was her friend told them about it. Or what that one homeless kid (I forget her name) went through before she was kicked out by her mother because her stepdad was sexually abusing her. I actually got feels when the main characters gave her a birthday cake for her birthday.
