The world may be going to hell, it really depends on what part of it you are working in. The idea of turning people into capitalist citizens before turning them into recipients of socialist programs is appealing to me. It coincides with the natural evolution of capitalism.

He started Ashoka shortly thereafter. They have been pretty successful. They are far closer in idealogy to Yunus than to Compartamos.
