I've been trying to find a nice way to say this but wasn't Alicia Silverstone a bit fat to play batgirl? I mean she's not huge but she's not exactly built like an athlete in this movie. You expect your super heroines to have a 6 pack, not a bag of marshmallows.

As ridiculous as every second of this movie is, this scene stands out, and not just because Uncle Alfred dresses up his niece like a 1950s fetish model. I'm known as a bit of a Linux fanboy, but I 've got to admit that I don't think Linux supports "brain algorithms".
I kind of like Shwarzzenegger in this. He's not much of an actor, of course, and that works to his advantage here. Everybody else is trying to ACT. They're trying to make this nonsense appear real, and it's embarrassing. Uma Thurman, in particular, is just awful. Shwarzzenegger, who is not a stupid man, manages to hold onto some measure of his dignity by letting us know that HE knows how ridiculous this is. He even smiles a little at some of his more awful lines. He seems to be enjoying himself, and why shouldn't he? He almost never got to play the villain. His presence really made this movie a lot more bearable for me, in fact, I'll admit it it, I had fun. I went back to the second run (.50 admission) theater where it was playing, and saw it again.
