For anyone who might not know, the House on Haunted Hill is apparently Public domain, and so the full movie is available all over the web to view and/or download for free, including, youtube, hulu, and archive.org.

It will also be Rifftrax's live Halloween show this year.

If the inflatable skeleton DOESN'T come down from the rafters, we'll be sad.

Vincent Price makes everything classy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the remake with Geoffrey Rush moonlighting as a Vincent Price knockoff. The plot was retarded, and the gotcha scenes were hilarious, but Mr. Rush's performance as Vincent Price as Walt Disney really drew me into the film.

This film was a pretty fun ride also, although I prefer the Thirteen Ghosts (No, the old one with Vincent Price, not the less old one with Monk. Although, that movie was fun too).

Oops, I put "Invitation for the poeTV community to mock me for explicitly liking a lame movie" in several angle brackets, but I forgot that this site scrubs those clean.

So, I'll just state for the record, that I'm well aware that genuinely liking the newer version of this film makes some of you think lesser of me.

Price wasn't in "Thirteen Ghosts."

He was, however in "The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo."

Thirteen Ghosts was an attempt at making a Haunted Mansion movie, six years before the ride was actually complete. It was playing on public interest in the empty show building, which had just been completed.

Paul Frees actually did the ads for the movie in Ghost Host persona, no less.

I also liked the remake, silly CGI ghosts notwithstanding. Not only was Geoffrey Rush having a great time, but the sets were pretty awesome.
