craptacular - 2010-09-01

i'm five starring this before i even click through to youtube to view it

BillLumbergh - 2010-09-01

So am I, craptacular. So am I.

freedoom - 2010-09-01

But it doesn't even link to youtube!

Aoi - 2010-09-01

Instead, it leads to where no poetv user has boldly gone before.

Because fuck bliptv.

But five stars, favorited, and I'm watching it on bliptv anyway.

Udderdude - 2010-09-01

I'm not. I watched it first, and this one just isn't that good. Granted, it's going to be hard to top the masterpiece that was the Episode I review. But this is just .. bleh.

azazel - 2010-09-01

I've only ever gone to bliptv timidly. Never boldly.

Meatsack Jones - 2010-09-01

FFf-f-f-f-f-f-f-fAME!!!

CharlesSmith - 2010-09-01

I like that he's trying to innovate within his formula, but seriously no one wants to sit through a video explaining reasons why you should have liked a Star Trek movie. I think he's missing what the appeal of these videos was.

Bort - 2010-09-01

If nothing else, this one happens to show how to do a progggnon arc like "The Phantom Menace" should have.

The original series' Enterprise was not built at Utopia Planitia, but in earth orbit. I'm just saying.

memedumpster - 2010-09-01

Five for parallel universe ex-wife millionaire cat.

Spit Spingola - 2010-09-01

I love how his reviews are longer than the movies. Such a nerdy thing to watch.

Phil - 2010-09-01

This is getting five starred because someone at blip.tv inexplicably thought that a pizza rolls advertisement was the best thing to run before the review.

codehappy - 2010-09-01

Five stars for the summary of Star Trek: The Motion Picture at the beginning alone.

There's some serious beard going on in this video.

Binro the Heretic - 2010-09-01

GOOD: He scaled back on the whole abducting/murdering prostitutes shtick. He went back to using it as a quick sight gag and/or punchline. He made killing hookers funny again!

BAD: He started to over-analyze the plot and the "science" of it. That wouldn't have been so bad, but it wasn't funny at all. Also, he seemed to be holding the original Trek up as some paragon of scientific accuracy and complex plot writing. It was a space western that re-wrote its own physical laws every week and that's what I loved about it.

StanleyPain - 2010-09-01

I was wondering how long it would take before the usual "OH THIS ISN'T FUNNY ANYMORE" depresso-people would start to chime in.

His reviews aren't SOLELY about being funny, they are also insightful, and this was a pretty good review.

takewithfood - 2010-09-01

I started to type almost exactly this until I saw your comment.

dancingshadow - 2010-09-01

Plus this was fucking funny

longwinded - 2010-09-01

I just don't get the kids anymore

sosage - 2010-09-02

This was pretty gawd damn long for so little hate. Just sayin'.

hornung - 2010-09-01

i still like it.
less hooker death made it better too.

Bort - 2010-09-01

Yeah, I still don't like the implication that he murdered that one hooker's baby. Somehow I don't get much joy out of that, maybe my sense of humor isn't nuanced enough.

Aelric - 2010-09-02

It's just sorta his humor. If you watch his other films, you'll see what I mean.

Sphinx - 2010-09-01

"I think I need a therapist.. NO NOT HER!"

kennydra - 2010-09-01

I'd like to see him review 2012

RocketBlender - 2010-09-01

OOOOVERDRIVE!

joelkazoo - 2010-09-01

Dangit, I was hoping he'd do "Cop Dog".

RomancingTrain - 2010-09-02

The Hobus supernova hit Romulus so fast because it traveled through subspace. As to why it traveled through subspace-I don't know, I got bored with the Star Trek MMO halfway through that story arc.

oddeye - 2010-09-02

That any good? The demo had some fun and interesting features, mostly making your character and seeing what sort of name for a ship you could get away with.

Sphinx - 2010-09-02

The MMO is okay mostly because it's not a complete time sink that requires you to play for hours per session to get anything done. You can pretty quickly knock out a mission or two in about an hour. The overall storyline was pretty good but the higher level end content wasn't that interesting and I quit. It might have changed in the past few months though.

1394 - 2010-09-02

What's wrong with your hair?

CornOnTheCabre - 2010-09-02

i was rrrrreally hoping for Indiana Jones 4, but he made alot of good points, as per usual.

Rape Van Winkle - 2010-09-02

Yup. He lost all his powers, when he decided to make a favorable review.

deadpan - 2010-09-02

Not as good as the earlier ones, but let's be honest: nothing will ever top Baby's Day Out. That was his Citizen Kane.

vissarion - 2010-09-02
