Well, now I know how to deal with the Temptation Skeletons which plague today's youth. Especially the sing-songy ones that show up when you get raped.

Fucking Temptation Skeletons. Go back to Mexico!

Also: The full documentary is called Hell House. It's worth seeing. These people make a different Hell House every year, and devote nearly the entire year to planning each one. Life well spent!

facek - 2010-06-06

It's on Netflix Streaming too.

MaulLove - 2010-06-06

I didn't realize it was on streaming Netflix, sweet.

I got grounded for laughing at one of these when I was a teenager. It was the anti-Mormon vignette at a hell house in SoCal.

Hooper_X - 2010-06-06

The black girls around 5:00 seem to understand exactly how retarded this entire enterprise is.

(also, I like how the Grim Reaper is a shrieky girl.)

APE_GOD - 2010-06-06

SLAY THEM ALL.

Mike Tyson?! - 2010-06-06

I stopped watching at the kid being bullied then killing himself. So are all those people who watched that and gasped at the end going to make an effort to befriend the school weird kids or are they going to go back to school Monday and make fun of the gay kid and tell him he's going to Hell.

Oh.

Camonk - 2010-06-06

So you stopped at the first clip. Lame. You're missing a girl being taunted over being gang-raped and molested by her father. It's something else. You get the sense that they would have shown the whole thing in graphic, titillating--I MEAN HORRIFYING--detail if they could have. It's amazing.

Camonk - 2010-06-06

SEVEN DOLLARS?!

To be bullied and threatened and finally given an ultimatum. SEVEN. FUCKING. DOLLARS.

Blue - 2010-06-07

Seven dollars well spent.

phalsebob - 2010-06-06

This seems totality appropriate for kids. Yep, bringing your kid or young teen to this seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do, Trinity Church in Cedar Hills Texas. Naturally, it's in Texas.

Camonk - 2010-06-06

To be fair to my horrible home state, that really could've been anywhere in the bible belt.

gotterdamm - 2010-06-06

Zartan at 3:32.

Scynne - 2010-06-06

A brilliant likeness of a rave.

Also: the everything else.

PegLegPete - 2010-06-06

I lost it at the picture of Jesus the rave girl had.

Blue - 2010-06-07

I want to carry that picture around and yell at it every time something doesn't go my way. I'd love to go to a game and blame every bad play on Jesus.

StanleyPain - 2010-06-06

ARE YOU READY?

FOR...

MIDI RAVE!!!
PREPARE TO HAVE MIND BLOWN.

magnesium - 2010-06-06

Ah, rape, God's punishment for promiscuous women.

That guy - 2010-07-06

Who wants to get a group together and do a mass prank in the "choice" room?!

APE_GOD - 2010-06-06

the idea that you can do whatever you want with your life, literally whatever you want: be as selfish and cruel and evil as you please, and then at some point, any point, recite a magic spell that 'saves you' is intrinsically more pagan and primitive than the religions fundamentalist Christianity claims to be above.

MaulLove - 2010-06-06

Wait a minute, that's not accurate.

You can only do that if you're straight. You saw what happened to the homosexual.

Xenocide - 2010-06-07

Duh. The magic spell also cures gay.

Also those cocks in your brain? Now they're vaginas. Just like that.

TeenerTot - 2010-06-07

I'm not an expert in Poe's law, but i think it might apply here.

heyitslozeau - 2010-06-07

I've seen this documentary a few times, it's horribly evil and makes me physically angry each time.

Another moment of note? Using the Star of David as the symbol of the occult.

Quad9Damage - 2010-06-22

I rented this from Netflix once. Somehow I forgot about all of this shit. Between the abortion pill girl with the bloody crotch, the girl who is laughed at for being raped, and the whole scene with the gay man, I'm having a hard time believing that contemporary Christianity could be this fucking stupid yet at the SAME time, I can easily see it happening.
