What's with the very end of the video?

Comeuppance - 2010-06-03

It's Windows Movie Maker syndrome, wherein the video editor decides that something needs more graphical transitions than necessarily makes sense, and will tack them on even if it detracts from the video.

This editor must be in remission, having moved onto better editing software and probably having been slapped around a bit for his past transition abuse.

Fuck browser wars, but this advertisement is excellent!

Something's not right with their method... Can't seem to put my finger on it...

memedumpster - 2010-06-03

If that potato hadn't had a massive memory leak since version 3 it would have kicked Opera's ass.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-06-03

It would have made more sense if they'd competed against a vegetable that nobody eats, like some sort of blue tomato.

SlickBrisket - 2010-06-03

lol thats soo random

pastorofmuppets - 2010-06-03

It was a parody of the Google thing, which was basically crying out for this sort of treatment.

LOL!!!!

MrBuddy - 2010-06-03

The video was kind of silly but I love Opera so it still gets five stars.

splatterbabble - 2010-06-03

Opera and Chrome aren't for me until F5 selects the URL. There's probably some other shortcut or a way to make it do that, but I'm stuck on my browsing habits and if they won't support it out of the box, I'm not going to fiddle with it.

Damn it. Now I want to fiddle with it, just to prove myself stupid.

AltMazter - 2010-06-03

Opera uses F8 and Chrome uses F6 to select URL
But what browser uses F5 for that?
IE, Opera and Chrome use F5 for refreshing the page.

KillerGazebo - 2010-06-03

Firefox refreshes with F5 too. Are you using AOL or something?

Suedeo - 2010-06-03

I have always used ALT-D to select the URL within my browser.

splatterbabble - 2010-06-04

I proved myself stupid. F6.

Mister Yuck - 2010-06-03

That wasn't funny.
