He was just waiting for Gary Coleman to go first. Now, all we need is for Kelsey Grammer to kick the bucket, and we'll have our Republican actor trifecta.

This scene changed my life.

Love that pounding noise in the background.

Another wonderful movie from my childhood.

I don't understand the obsession with Hopper. He's a one dimensional actor who lacks subtlety. He's got about the same range as Schwarzenegger, I'd say.

Still, RIP.

splatterbabble - 2010-05-30

I suppose it's because he did a lot of the dirty jobs that no one else wanted. Could you imagine anyone else of that time period being Frank Booth? Maybe only a couple people, like Robert DiNero, Rupert Everett, or maybe Steve Buscemi.

sosage - 2010-05-30

Buscemi would not work at all. James Caan, however, would be on the top of my casting list.

C'mon, Hopper played King Koopa and Victor Drazen.
As far as I'm concerned, we need to give wicked-ass props to him.

Some people were upset to learn he was a Republican, apparently having pegged Dennis Hopper as the notably calm and compassionate type.
