they is a he. not so unusual. drukqs is a great album. Richard D. James writes some beautiful piano pieces.

This song is beautiful but I just don't get his ear bleedingly abrasive other electronic music.

P.S. Let me know if he has other piano music other than what's on Drukqs.

You are totally wrong about all things.

But you might like I Care Because You Do, which has his most conventionally "pretty" music aside from the prepared piano stuff on Drukqs, as well as the single most ear-bleedingly abrasive thing he's ever released*, "Ventolin."

*not the most abrasive thing he's ever DONE, mind you, I've heard of live gigs where he's done things like drop microphones in blenders and run a stylus across a disc of sandpaper.
