Whatever, though, because an XTi is not a bad camera or anything. I'm more concerned about the 00 price tag to end up meeting at WalMart to pick up the pictures.

Their answer that they were proofs is reasonable - cheapest way to get unedited pics to process and then let the customers pick the ones to blow up is to get them done at under 20 cents each or so.

Yeah, you could shoot a wedding with the XTi but you'd want a lot better lenses than the kit one and the kit+ one that gets packaged in with a lot of Rebels. JJB was banging his gear wang on the table a bit, but the cheap camera body was just part of the entire package showing these folks were charging a lot of money for substandard work.

As I was falling asleep last night I read some photography forums reactions to this show. Most of them were just gear wanking, but some were legitimately concerned that this show is just going to prove to bridezillas that they can sue you into oblivion if they don't like the pictures you took.

These fuckers overcharge to begin with, taking advantage of the buyer's weakness involving an emotional event. The least they can fucking do is act professionally and produce a high quality product.

Not just photography, pretty much any industry without a barrier to entry. Having more confidence than ability is the American way.
