Holy shit.

TheQuakeSoldier - 2010-03-05

Yeah, if you're watching this video, don't miss the last 10 seconds. True justice.

RockBolt - 2010-03-04

A Rebel with kit lenses, how cute

"What speed was it?"

"I don't know [what that means]"

frau_eva - 2010-03-05

The red-haired lady directly behind her did an awesome doubletake when the "photographer" said that.

Testicles of Doom - 2010-03-07

Thanks for the heads up on the redhead, because I would've missed it.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2010-03-04

Owned you fat cows.

Fur is Murder - 2010-03-05

Fish lips.

Jellyneck - 2010-03-05

fermun - 2010-03-05

Because of poeTV, I always think Mobius Syndrome whenever I see a mouth like that.

Rosebeekee - 2010-03-05

Did anyone else have the urge to punch the defendant in her overbite?

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-03-05

Those women are definitely Palin supporters.

Joe's a bit off there. Most weddings I've seen/worked don't allow flash anytime during the service. It's fair game during the processional, and once the registry signing starts, but everything between those points is "no flash" for anyone. But they usually let you make up the shots after.

Still, anyone who's shot more than a couple weddings will have to deal with this problem. His gear is a bit out of date - the 28-70 has long since been replaced by the 24-70

HankFinch - 2010-03-05

That was his point. His gear is out of date and he still knew how to take care of it.

unknown rebel - 2010-03-05

It's the focal ratio that counts for indoor work, kids. So start breaking the bank to get the decent 50mm lenses with low f-numbers.

THA SUGAH RAIN - 2010-03-05

Wow. JJB knew his shit.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-03-05

Knows how to pick out a good bailiff too.

OH!

FABIO - 2010-03-05

"That's your opinion" is a pretty unrecoverable point in any debate.

grimcity - 2010-03-05

Especially to cameraman/Judge Joe motherfucking Brown!

Jellyneck - 2010-03-05

"let's just do the ruling then" is pretty much her bitchy way of saying that. Either we skip ahead to the ruling or I have to sit here and answer more questions about my camera, so let's keep this thing moving.

Whatever, though, because an XTi is not a bad camera or anything. I'm more concerned about the 00 price tag to end up meeting at WalMart to pick up the pictures.

badideasinaction - 2010-03-05

Their answer that they were proofs is reasonable - cheapest way to get unedited pics to process and then let the customers pick the ones to blow up is to get them done at under 20 cents each or so.

Yeah, you could shoot a wedding with the XTi but you'd want a lot better lenses than the kit one and the kit+ one that gets packaged in with a lot of Rebels. JJB was banging his gear wang on the table a bit, but the cheap camera body was just part of the entire package showing these folks were charging a lot of money for substandard work.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-03-05

gear wang AND gavel wang is one too many wangs

Frank Rizzo - 2010-03-05

"what f stop did you use?"
"we used a tripod"

fuck.

man that was way damn cooler then I was expecting.

dementomstie - 2010-03-05

Wow. That really was very much worth watching. I'm really happy with his decision on the amount due too. Wow.
And is there a way that woman could have acted less professionally?

Chalkdust - 2010-03-05

Judge Joe Brown will destroy your ass then take a beautiful, professional photograph of it

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2010-03-05

An extra 150% for being an ignorant bitch. I approve.

Hooper_X - 2010-03-05

We call that "the asshole tax."

BIlly Mays Here - 2010-03-05

It's a shame that since this is a television court show the "loser" doesn't actually have to pay a cent.

Hay Belly - 2010-03-05

Yeah but that's money that they could have had for free and lost.

Hooper_X - 2010-03-05

I love how the audience is just clapping away. Did they load it with a ton of professional photographers or something?

Jellyneck - 2010-03-05

I'm thinking there were a lot of brides in the room, potential or otherwise. That photographer is going to pay out of pocket for that job because she was a stupid bitch to JJB.

As I was falling asleep last night I read some photography forums reactions to this show. Most of them were just gear wanking, but some were legitimately concerned that this show is just going to prove to bridezillas that they can sue you into oblivion if they don't like the pictures you took.

TheQuakeSoldier - 2010-03-05

These fuckers overcharge to begin with, taking advantage of the buyer's weakness involving an emotional event. The least they can fucking do is act professionally and produce a high quality product.

chumbucket - 2010-03-05

Thanks to the availability of cheap digital photo equipment, there are people like this EVERYWHERE.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-03-05

Not just photography, pretty much any industry without a barrier to entry. Having more confidence than ability is the American way.

Squidmojo - 2010-03-05

My father-in-law is a professional photographer. He absolutely refuses to do weddings (except for family) because of all the bullshit. He also likes to to share horror stories from his clients who hire cheap, shit-talking amateurs like these two fine women in the video and then get blurry, shitty pictures in the end.

A fair amount of people end up restaging parts of their wedding with a pro just to get pictures.

Slagathor - 2010-03-07

A digital rebel is not a professional camera.

nemeses9 - 2010-03-07

More please.

Man Who Fights Like Woman - 2010-03-08

"Says wedding pictures are terrible."

Judge Joe Brown knows his cameras.
