The story is, Trubee was saw an ad in a comic book for some record mill that said "We'll turn your poem into a country song for ". Being a prankster he saved up and sent them a page of made up acid ravings figuring he'd just get a hilarious rejection letter, but sure enough they made it into a country song. Session singer Ramsey Kearney earned his paycheck that day.
