my dad took me to this movie in the theatre when I was two years old. One of my earliest memories

Does that mean you haven't seen Repo Man? For shame.

It was the first big movie that was really influenced by punk rock, it's so comically nihilistic that it has aged really really well. One of the best movie soundtracks too, it's worth buying.

He will always be Frog in my heart.

Psychotronic Magazine's Michael Weldon calls this film "The ONLY good Emilio Estevez film". Thoughts?

StanleyPain - 2009-11-10

I grew up reading Psychotronic, but I have come to the realization that Michael Weldon can be kind of an idiot most of the time.

Clearly the case of Men at Work has eluded this guy. Or maybe not.

Plate o' shrimp.

Sick Man - 2009-11-11

The first time I caught this on cable, I was living out in the middle of the fucking desert. I was so glad to see the "town" I was in show up on that map in the intro.

MrBuddy - 2009-11-11

Not as famous as "Royale with Cheese" but I love it just the same.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2009-11-11

How the fuck would I know?

phalsebob - 2009-11-11

I've known people like this. They are great in small doses but they wear thin after too much exposure.

joelkazoo - 2009-11-15

True. A guy at work is very into conspiracy theories about the Federal Reserve and is a self-confessed 9/11 Truther and Birther. I initially pitied him, but now just see he uses that stuff as an excuse to be a bitter drunk who refuses to take personal responsibility for his actions. Why even try to eke out a decent life for yourself when it's so much easier to blame unseen powers-that-be as the reason your own life is so fucked up?

I'm glad this is already on there, because it's high in the running for my favorite monologue of all time.
