Swore this was up already.

I watched both of these years ago and they are very hard to get through. It's not so much the grisly nature of the crime (though it is pretty horrible), but the sheer, sustained awfulness of the people in this community, not the least of which being parents of the victims (at least one of whom was almost certainly involved in their deaths) and the law enforcement community who apparently didn't really give a shit about actually bothering to catch who did this, but figure scapegoating some children would do the trick. I found it hard, if not impossible, to comprehend what would drive a man in law enforcement to see this horrific crime and not want to to solve it and bring the REAL guilty people to justice instead of just trying to end it as fast as possible. The whole thing is disgusting on a level I can't revisit.
The WM3 are not shining pinnacles of humanity, but they are innocent. Period.

Fuck an Arkansas.

These are amazing and utterly heartbreaking films. I can't believe that the West Memphis 3 are fucking still locked up.

Okay, so yeah - everybody loves this movie but really is anyone planning on watching it over 40 ten-minute YouTube videos?

I donated a year or two back to their cause when DNA evidence cleared them of any evidence. It's fairly fucking obvious that two of the parents were involved, and it sickens me that Echols is still stuck on Death Row. Why they won't give these men (who were still boys when the horrible horrible murders took place) a retrial in the face of so much public demand... I don't know. What a blight on Arkansas.

I can't watch the films again, but what a great choice anyway. Glad it's out there in it's entirety for the internet to see.
