You're ignoring the historical importance of this clip. This was the early 90s when a number of black filmmakers finally broke free of the oppressive Hollywood system operated by whites and infested with racism. With the dawn of the black indie feature, these filmmakers could make wonderful, black-centric films about what it was truly like to have a house party when your parents were gone for, say, a day or two. And it also gave them freedom to portray all white characters in their movies as either incredibly dumb or incredibly corrupt, or both! Especially if they were cops or in a position of some authority.
