Is there a line the review becomes too self referential and talks more about the reviewer than what could be leaned from playing the first five minutes of the game?
If there's a line, I think Zero Punctuation is dangerously close to it.
Does anyone watch ZP for fairly objective reviews? I'm here for the rapidfire disdain: I'd probably enjoy these just as much if he was taking down world political leaders once a week.
He's never really been interested in reviewing games. He wants to be congratulated on his cleverness in making up puns about them. Which I am usually willing to do.
I would TOTALLY watch Zero Punctuation: World Political Leader edition.
SEE HERE'S THE THING ABOUT OSCAR ARIAS THE PRESIDENT OF COSTA RICA THE MAN IS AN UTTER FUCKING TWAT I MEAN WHAT KIND OF NAME IS OSCAR ANYWAY etc etc etc etc etc.
