Prologue also had beautifully rendered cutscenes. But while the game looked good, it was nowhere near as awesome looking as that opening cutscene.

A big "meh" from the Burnout fan. So sue me. Burnout is way more fun to play, and is IMMEDIATELY fun to play (giant advantage) over having to sell your kidneys for a new muffler.

I hate realistic driving sims but I always seem to end up buying the GT games just because they're so goddamn nice to look at.

This will be no exception.

Is this another game that I will be unable to play 80% of due to having to play short, timed, painfully hard and boring minigames to earn licenses?

I have a giant boner for both arcade and realistic car games, it's the ones that are neither that infuriate me.

And if this game has damage I can get drunk then play it like Burnout and save the best replays.
