I have a feeling this is a dupe but I don't care. I love this song and I love when the muppets just did no frills folk songs.

If it's a dupe, then what were the tags on the original?

joffe b - 2009-05-11

probably something ridiculous, knowing what goes on here. But more likely I'm just mixing it up with some other half remembered muppet clip seen here.

There was another clip with the "Country Trio" put up just a week or two ago; maybe you're thinking of that?

Is that Red Green as the banjo player?

sliggy - 2009-05-11

No that's Jim Henson playing a Muppet version of himself.

Erix - 2009-05-11

Ah. Well, he sounded a lot like Red Green.

They should of just closed the whole thing down after Jim's death. With his death, the Muppets lost their soul, their heart, AND their wit!

aww i like the muppet christmas carol.

they put micheal caine and the puppets together.

and then there was tim curry.

i mean they went downhill but it wasn't like falling off a cliff, it was like gliding down a nice hill.

Point well made. I must admit I liked Christmas Carol, but everything after that...meh.
