The ending in my opinion was rather disturbingly sympathetic to the concept of false-flag terrorism. I came to this conclusion entirely on my own, I'm actually surprised others did.

The fact that one of the end sequences shows a shot of what looked to me like a large scale replica of ground zero, with a strategically placed billboard overlooking it in the foreground that said: "In your heart, you know it was right", bothered the shit out of me.

Conspiracy or not, it's a disturbing barometer for how society has adjusted to what happened.
