racist

Camonk - 2009-03-18

I don't know. For some reason I have the feeling he's NOT RACIST.

Hooper_X - 2009-03-18

Saw the punchline coming from a fair distance, but it was still cute.

Udderdude - 2009-03-18

hurr durr

StanleyPain - 2009-03-18

The escapist is going to love the feedback from this one, holy shit.

Here's hoping the next Yahtze video is about the reaction to this one.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-03-18

Ah, the Steven Colbert defense. Very good.

thebaronsdoctor - 2009-03-18

You shoot the guns and the peoples fall down

NOT RACIST!

Sudan no1 - 2009-03-18

listening to a English-Austrailian talk about american rap music and race issues: always fun

Goethe and ernie - 2009-03-18

Do you mean American race issues, or race issues in general? And isn't he actually just English? You know someone doesn't become Australian if they move to Australia? What are you talking about?

Xenocide - 2009-03-18

Because other countries don't have race issues. And America never exports its culture anywhere.

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2009-03-19

for it's worth, his views are identical to mine

Sudan no1 - 2009-03-19

I am simply saying, as an American, I have heard all his clever observations put forth before, again and again. By black people, even.

It'd be nice if his commentary on hip hop culture wasn't the same thing every other nerd has to say about it

Doctor Arcane - 2009-03-18

But is fifty really representative of hip-hop culture? I dunno, he has a few catchy songs but honestly Xzibit, Obie, Nas, Jayz, etc etc all have way better lyrics, flow and are just plain damn better.

Cheese - 2009-03-18

but who sells more records?

Syd Midnight - 2009-03-19

Look I'm man enough to admit I'm too white to review rap, that's what Yahtzee should have done. Instead he tried and panicked over the race issue.

On the second-to-last credits screen he finally starts being funny:
"I found it entertaining to pretend the unnamed middle eastern country was the same one from Call of Duty 4 and that BotS was a prequel establishing how it was destabilized by the West."

Anyways Yahtzee has to really suck to get a low rating from me

bongoprophet - 2009-03-23

Yeah, it kinda bugs me to imagine 14yr old pasty faced metalheads giggling to this, thinking somehow that their choice of music is so much more profound.

halon - 2009-03-18

Glock of Damocles

Monchiles Monchiles - 2009-03-18

THE ENDING. FIVE STARS.

garcet71283 - 2009-03-18

FIVE MORE FOR THE ENDING.

Also for the comment in the credits, need to buy this game now.

Hooker - 2009-03-18

I'd like to talk about the ad that popped up before the video itself started. It was some badly animated thing babbling incoherently and then Zero Punctuation started. What the fuck was that?

sosage - 2009-03-18

The March Madness thing? Anyone remember the first week of the Escapist when it was all high brow? I think March Madness is when those people try to be entertaining.

Zero Punctuation IS entertaining, so five as usual.

Xenocide - 2009-03-18

AWWW YEAH DRESSIN' LIKE AN ELECTRIC OLD LADY

Cheese - 2009-03-18

If I remember correctly, this game's plot is Fiddy plays a BENEFIT concert for the troops in Iraq, then demands payment for the BENEFIT in the form of a diamond skull.

ProfessorChaos - 2009-03-18

A helicopter stole my high school sweetheart. Thanks for pouring salt in the wounds.

RockBolt - 2009-03-19

It belongs in a museum dammit!

RockBolt - 2009-03-19

Also, I'd totally play a Tomb Raider/50 Cent crossover

eatenmyeyes - 2009-03-25

The parrot did it for me.
