I remember these guys from some weird K-Tel-esque ad campaign that aired on late-night reruns. They were trying to come off as some kind of "Stone Temple Pilots" meets "Jane's Addiction" act.
I do have to give them props for staying on-message with this song, however. Most Christian pop is no different from the worst mainstream pop-clones except that Jesus is tangentally mentioned in the bridge.
But my big question was did they come up with this themselves, or was it inspired by those "Got Milk" ads where the dude dies and winds up in hell with loads of chocolate chip cookies and a fridge of empty milk cartons?
