I certainly am. I am also highly against sacrificing masses of children for some bizarre outdated religion and\or the welfare of your sponsors that care very little about the people that Hamas selectively extorts from and grants a pittance of social programs to others.

Israel has attempted to open aid to Palestinians, but for some reason people who attempt to give aid to Palestinians are mysteriously attacked. Nobody is doubting that Israel has done terrible shit. Arabs coordinated with Israelis to execute the very mass murders that the white Gaza protesters are whining about.

I just had a very heart rending conversation with a Palestinian who said that I was the only friend in America that he knew because I understood how difficult this was and how evil Hamas was. Of course, he was an atheist. You'd have to be a crazy militant muslim or Finkelstein\Chomsky enthusiast to defend their tactics otherwise.

We don't disagree here. I just think that the fact that most political issues get so polarized lead people to believe that they have to support one group or the other, or that by attacking one you are supporting the other. It's really not the case here. Of course Hamas sucks. They are to be reviled. But the was Israel retaliated against generally non-lethal rocket attacks by bombing the fuck out of civilians and Hamas alike puts them on the exact same page as the nut jobs they are trying to wipe out. A little like our late great Mr Bush. They are digging their own grave here, along side those many Palestinian babies under fresh soil for doing no wrong other than living in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Israel has attempted to open aid to Palestinians" is a blatant lie. The border between Israel and Gaza has been virtually hermetically sealed for months, also before the rocket launches from Hamas. Humanitarian organizations are continually prevented from giving aid to Gaza. The vast majority of Gazan civilians are living below the poverty line, and Israel seems to make an effort to make sure they don't get the aid they desperately need.

One might say this helps weaken Hamas, but I just can't see how. When Israel targets civilians like that, I for one would think they are only enabling Hamas to requit new members among the people that under other circumstances would oppose Hamas.

Of course Hamas also targets civilians, making them no better that the IDF, I just want to point out that taking sides with or accepting the acts of any of the aggressors in this conflict is basically the same as condoning pointless violence and the violation of international law.

Hey Bongo, before you blame Israel for the humanitarian failure in Gaza, think about how Hamas had many supply tunnels, all importing weapons instead of the aid so direly needed in the region.
The humanitarian crisis started there long before Israel started bombing.

Hamas is a turd casserole. I believe this is tacitly understood by most people. I don't understand why the conversation keeps shifting to "look at Hamas!" Have some dignity, Israel. Your behavior is not excused by that of your opponent, especially when things are so mismatched.
