This clip contains all the funny parts of the pilot, too. The rest of it just dragged. (which is no slight against the show - pilots of good shows often suck.)

After two seasons of Metalocalypse, the violence in this seems not at all gratuitous.

The worst part of it not being picked up was the way the [adult swim] douchebag fuckface asswipes kept announcing Korgoth was going to be on the schedule and then...nothing. I suppose if Korgoth had been drawn, voiced and animated in a deliberately amateurish fashion and had "jokes" that consisted of non-sequiter phrases they would have given it at least two seasons.
