This conversation is fucking wild. "You and I don't know there isn't someone named 'Lizard People'." They are taking this so seriously. Wow.

Moon-Unit Zappa. This must be injected somewhere.

I actually did write her in for district judge one time!

This is so great, and genuinely fascinating. Though I'd probably find all their challenge discussions fascinating, even the mundane ones that involve smudges, attempted obliterations, etc.

And I'd love to see their reaction to the block of ballots the Coleman campaign challenged on the basis of "GOP voter intent" because the ticket is split McCain/Franken (so obviously they MEANT to vote for Coleman).

5 stars for the lady going "UGGGGGGH" at the guy @ 7:28.

Doctor Arcane - 2008-12-19

Norm Coleman had Norm crossed out, and they debated for 5 minutes if this was a vote for Gary Coleman.

Hooper_X - 2008-12-19

God, if only.

Cap'n Profan!ty - 2008-12-19

"It's a half-hearted vote for Lizard People." ha ha ha

Hooper_X - 2008-12-19

I agree. the Flying Spaghetti Monster IS just silly.

chumbucket - 2008-12-19

"was his first name Lizard?" and the way she says "vote"

IrishWhiskey - 2008-12-19

My favorite challenge so far:

The Coleman campaign tried to have thrown out a Franken ballot, because the person wrote on it "Thank you for counting my ballot."

godot - 2008-12-19

On Thursday (Dec 18), Republican incumbent Norm Coleman saw his lead shrink from 360 votes to just two as most challenges were rejected. He had a 215-vote lead over Democrat Al Franken after the initial count of the Nov. 4 election.

TWO VOTES.

NoCode - 2008-12-19

"Can we take another second to look at it? It's the weirdest."

"No, it's not the weirdest."

And there were MORE votes for Lizard People? That is fucking awesome.

fermun - 2008-12-19

The person put "Lizard People" as a write-in on almost every section. They only filled in the bubble on ones where the person was running unopposed and stuff like that. Apparently though, on a write-in, you do not need to fill in the bubble, so it was an overvote and the vote for Franken didn't count.

IrishWhiskey - 2008-12-19

This election is being blatantly stolen from 4th District Supervisor L. Quincy People.
