I found one of these in an classic gaming store a couple months ago in a pile of smaller Genesises (Geneses?). It was unlabeled and I had no idea what it was. I remember thinking to myself that I would look it up later, but I never did.

Man Sega made so many failures. The 32x. The Sega CD. The Nomad. The thing that was all three rolled into one yet costed 0 more than buying each separately. And of course, the Saturn.
It's a wonder they actually had enough money to develop the Dreamcast.
It's a shame the Dreamcast failed since that was actually a worthwhile system, but I'm guessing that by then they had lost too much credibility to attract third-party developers aside from their long-time butt-buddies Namco.
