I'd like to see some enterprising nerd construct an entire narrative around the different movies where he's actually the same guy in all of them and how he winds up being a mailman and a security guard and etc.

(also: TRUE BEARD ATTACK: the guy with the lawnmower in the X3 clip is Chris Claremont. Not Shown: Dominatrix dressed as Storm.)

The world needs to know the Claremont story:

While we're at it, Jim Balent's "Star Wars" wedding:

Creepy Leia/Vader subtext aside, that guy is a massive dork and he is probably fortunate to pull off a lady who can fill out a Slave Leia getup so well.

a flaming monkey - 2008-11-11

....And every single one of those films sucked.

Udderdude - 2008-11-11

NO U

Iron Man was pretty good.

For the rest of them, yeah, the Stan Lee cameo is pretty much the only part you need to see (and in Spider Man 3 even that part is horrible).

5 stars for the one Stan Lee cameo where he is actually Stan Lee.

dichotic1 - 2008-11-11

every single one of them killed a part of my childhood

TheOtherCapnS - 2008-11-11

Hamfisted and gratuitous = what a cameo should be.

chumbucket - 2008-11-11

iron man was all that was needed here

Hugo Gorilla - 2008-11-11

You demanded it, true believers! The copious cameos of comic book creator, Stan Lee, all in one mighty, marvelous mash-up that only Marvel can bring to the silver screen!

Excelsior!

thirteen3seven - 2008-11-11

I was going to give it four stars, but then you went and did that.

Pillager - 2008-11-11

Stan Lee has always had a Galactus sized ego.

Do you really expect him to humbly dodge the limelight?

CharlesSmith - 2008-11-11

And he's only been waiting for movies about superheroes to become popular for his whole goddamn life. Let the old man be in some terrible movies for a few minutes. It's not like he's ruining great works of art.

Crucifried - 2008-11-11

He stole that little girl in Spiderman!

And then he stole a woman in Spiderman 2!

FABIO2 - 2008-11-11

No X2?

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-11-11

This is exactly the sort of thing you do when you're the creator of a comic book empire. It would be weird if he didn't do these things.

Hooper_X - 2008-11-11

I guess it just seems kind of hollow and weird to me that Lee gets all the credit and accolades while Kirby and Ditko and etc. are largely forgotten except by die-hard nerds.

I realize that Kirby's been dead for 15 years and you're not getting Ditko to come down out of the attic for anything short of the second coming of Ayn Rand but well, you know.

SolRo - 2008-11-11

I like the ironman appearance

Theda - 2008-11-11

They should make a Bruce Campbell cameo video. I know he was in the Spider man movies, but don't know where...

BornAgainCannibal - 2008-11-11

Ring announcer in the first, usher in the second, I forget everything about the third save the hilarious "Peter Parker is a dick now" montage.

baleen - 2008-11-11

I'm not as much of a comic nerd as 90% of poe people, but come on, it's Stan Lee. Doesn't he deserve it?

Harveyjames - 2008-12-18

I guess some kind of award is due for a man that talentless to have become this famous

Spit Spingola - 2008-11-11

Fun video. He wasn't in the non-incredible "Hulk" movie, though? Snubbed by his brother Ang Lee.

RomancingTrain - 2008-11-11

That was the one where he was a security guard with Lou Ferrigno.

RomancingTrain - 2008-11-11

It's missing the really painful one from the '90s Spider-Man cartoon.

B. Weed - 2008-11-11

Also the one from Trial of the Incredible Hulk.

Cheese - 2008-11-12

not to mention the ones from the 70's Spiderman live action show.

Testicles of Doom - 2008-11-14

At least he had the good sense to stay out of that awful 90s Captain America movie.
