As always, love for Mr. Rogers. I guess I'm supposed to be horrified by this or something, but a lot of kids would be a little healthier hearing it.

citrusmirakel - 2008-10-22 I think depending on what your childhood was like, Mr. Rogers is rather a sacred cow in a lot of minds. Further evidence of this can be seen here.

KnowFuture - 2008-10-22 And in an attempt to sort of de-saintify Mr. Rogers a bit: if you were raised on TV, you could have done a hell of a lot worse.
|
Cleaner82 - 2008-10-22 I honestly was not raised on Mr. Rogers. When I was a kid I spurned him for Double Dare. He earned my respect recently. Far be it for me to criticize someone for 'bad taste', but I guess it struck a personal nerve. Like, "No Mr. Rogers, dark fantasies are not okay and children that have them are evil. For saying otherwise you yourself are insane."

If only I had any idea of how to play songs in TF2.

Go to fucking hell.
Mr. Rogers was a god among men.

Pretty lame tags.
|
KnowFuture - 2008-10-22
Needs an "id" tag.
I remember seeing this as a little kid and it didn't scare me or have any undue effect upon me, I was like, "I have wishes like that too sometimes, and wow, a grown-up person actually knows about that stuff!"
|
KnowFuture - 2008-10-22 how bout a "the Id" tag, and I'll even find a clip from Forbidden Planet or something (pretty sure there are already a few here) to back it up?

Ignoring the tag controversy, I'd like to say that 1. this show presented a lot of complex and quality musical compositions and 2. I still have a crush on Lady Aberline.
|
RandomFerret - 2008-10-25 He just rhymed 'come true' with 'come true' with 'come true.'

Was Fred ever that young? Thirty three years wasn't long enough.
