I only catch a few minutes of their pathetic shtick here & there, so I could be mistaken.

It just seems like every time I see them, they're impersonating sub-standard attempts at infomercials and amateur-made entertainment.

They're making fun of things that are already funny.

It bugs you to see guys putting in what appears to be minimal effort to mock what you call "unmockable" and you try so hard to declare it unfunny... Yet people laugh, therefore it is funny.

David is living a no more tragic life than the lady who filled your coffee the last time you ate out. He works for nothing, can't get a break and isn't particularly talented. Yet he is on national television and has developed a strange kind of fame.

Tim and Eric are fucking geniuses, if you don't like them it's just because you're jealous you didn't think of it first.
