Clearly inferior to the standard set by the rest of the movie.

baleen - 2008-09-19

These movies are as unfunny as I figured they were. Why do they keep making them?

Cleaner82 - 2008-09-19

People keep seeing them. It's humanity's greatest tragedy.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-09-19

Honestly? Immigrants love them. They are easy to understand without having to speak English entirely.

Jeff Fries - 2008-09-19

This is the one that saved the series

StumpyJoeMcGee - 2008-09-19

Idiots like familiarity, and reward it with their spending money.

Sadly, there are a lot of idiots with dwindling stimulus checks.

takewithfood - 2008-09-19

Epic Movie grossed more than double it's budget even though it has a 2% rating at Rotten Tomatoes. That's why they keep making them.

fractured - 2008-09-19

"Epic Movie grossed more than double it's budget even though it has a 2% rating at Rotten Tomatoes. That's why they keep making them."

It also happens that these films are perfectly empty and crude for anti-intellectual America. They aim for a PG-13 rating so that they concurrently can tap into the middle school audience, who go for this and PG-13 "horror" movies, generally.

The immigrant comment seems a bit misguided, but it is right in the idea that movies like these, along with action and horror movies, would be easier to (and I'm not sure if this is the right word for "Scary Movie III") "understand" for non-English-speakers. Not all immigrants are non-English-speakers or would choose to see "Scary Movie III" because they didn't happen speak English.

*nor would they

I'm horrible.

Really.

fractured - 2008-09-19

I probably still have that wrong.

B_Ko - 2009-09-20

Not nearly as horrible as this clip!

dueserpenti - 2008-09-19

"Cocaine is expensive," says actor Charlie Sheen.

Rudy - 2008-09-19

CHARLIE SHEEN'S SCHEDULE:

1 pm: Wake Up

2 pm: Hookers, Blow

3 pm: Hookers, Blow

4 pm: Hookers, Blow

5 pm: Appear on set of "Scary Movie 3" - deliver line "Now THERE'S something you don't see every day!"

5:05 pm: Retire to trailer, collect 0,000 appearance fee

The man is living the dream.

The Snickler - 2008-09-19

Its poorly orchestrated sight gag after poorly orchestrated sight gag.

kelpfoot - 2008-09-19

Hello! Let me welcome you to PoeTV:

"It's" and "its" are not the same. Please remember the difference, or I will find you.

Camonk - 2008-09-19

Thanks kelpfoot. I speak for all the pedants on PoETV when I say thanks for saving our wrist tendons from having to type this. I am not being sarcastic.

bopeton - 2008-09-21

your a fag.

kelpfoot - 2008-09-23

On PoeTV, threatening someone with murder is just like saying hello. Calling him a faggot is like complimenting his hat.

Thank you, bopeton. It is a nice hat.

RomancingTrain - 2008-09-19

I've heard that all the black characters are horrible stereotypes. I have no intention to do any more research however.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-09-19

In a Scary Movie movie? I don't want to believe that, sir!

KnowFuture - 2008-09-19

All the black people I know who went to see it are horrible stereotypes.

coprolalia - 2008-09-19

This is not comedy, it's a litmus test.

Pillager - 2008-09-19

1:19 does a decent job of predicting the McCain admin...

Harveyjames - 2008-09-19

I have no idea how to rate this.

Alektorophobic - 2008-09-19

I-- I've only ever seen the actual theatrical ending for this movie (and not the entire film), and even that crapfest was a thousand times better than this rejected ending.

Angel Carver - 2008-09-19

Wow. This is terrible.

For the record the first hour and change of "Scary Movie 3" is actually really funny. For the first and last time in the franchise the jokes were more than just witless allusions to other movies: they were daft jokes in their own right. And Anna Faris took her dumb, saucer-eyed schtick to new heights.

waxeater - 2008-09-19

What is wrong with you?

Cleaner82 - 2008-09-19

You wanted to know how these keep getting made Baleen?

Jeff Fries - 2008-09-19

Oh stop: it was directed by the same guy who did Top Secret!

Cleaner82 - 2008-09-19

Well okay, that IS a good start. That puts it a bit above all the other ______ Movie movies. Still, it was written by the Wayans brothers. At best, that equals a draw.

Angel Carver - 2008-09-19

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNDexiEKnD0&feature=related

"It's upside down!"
"What do I do?"
"I don't know!"

That is a perfectly constructed dumb joke, I'm sorry. Plus, I repeat: Anna Faris.

Testicles of Doom - 2008-09-19

I would feel bad for Leslie Nielson, but I'm too busy feeling bad for all of us for having to suffer through this "______ Movie" craze.

zatojones - 2008-09-19

The best ending for this movie would have been if the master prints were all destroyed and it was never seen by anyone ever

Corman's Inferno - 2008-09-19

Nice to see the Robot Chicken writers are getting movie gigs now.

IrishWhiskey - 2008-09-19

I'm shocked to learn that they actually rejected ideas. That implies that the film was the best they could come up with, and not just whatever a brain-damaged ritalin addicted teenager could spew out in 20 minutes.

Camonk - 2008-09-19

Everyone involved looks so BORED. I wouldn't expect most of these people to try very HARD, or anything, I mean, couldn't they have pretended to care? A little bit?

chumbucket - 2008-09-19

I really tried to laugh...I really really did try...just didn't happen

fractured - 2008-09-19

I'm horrible.

Hooper_X - 2008-09-19

Holy christ.

kingofthenothing - 2009-02-21

the only good line in this was "hey, that's not sterilized!"

Bozo - 2009-06-18
