1.The guy is wearing a jacket which is huge, while the other guy is wearing a t-shirt. So it is likely for protection from wild beasts.
2.He also leans right over the counter as if he was trying to stab him with his gun. I would assume someone robbing a gun store would know a little about the proper function of a gun.

Yeah, it may be part of a promotional video for guard dog training services or something. I didn't want to point out the potential fakedness until people had fun watching it. I hate spoilers.

Even if this video is fake, it happened to a client who owned a liquor store. Exact same way. Robber had no idea there was a dog, and the dog got shot. The FBI wanted the bullet, but we wouldn't take it out as it would have injured the dog to do so. We always knew that dog was going to bite someone some day, just didn't think he'd be called a hero for it.

Guns on the shelf aren't loaded, that's insanely irresponsible and illegal in most if not all states. That said I have yet to enter a gun store where every employ was not openly wearing their "everyday carry" like a name tag.

Maybe the robber was some stupid methhead, he handed an unloaded gun and the guy tried to shoot him with it. He figures at this point, it would be more humane and humorous to sick Killer on him than put a round in his head. Thats what I'm believing, anyway.
