I would pay a 'having the nicest beaches' tax if I could.

Five stars, but he shouldn't have explained the Adrian joke. I can just imagine thousands of Adrians really freaking out.

Just played thru Braid last sunday. Awesome all round.
I agree with what he says about the story but not about the puzzles. I thought the puzzles were fresh all the way thru. And the levels are tiny... restarting them (by walking out a door and comming back in) is not an issue.
dancingshadow - 2008-08-27 Also I was in the right mood to like the story anyway... Complete with going on forums to try and figure out what it all meant.
StanleyPain - 2008-08-27 Not to mention rewinding time at full speed restarts the level faster than walking out and back in in most cases.
dancingshadow - 2008-08-27 right... but won't reset the puzzle in some rare cases.

Best one so far.

Some keys break/only work for one door?
I guess he didn't notice that anything surrounding by the green glow is unaffected by time powers.
-1 for him being a little dumb.
notbob - 2008-08-27 and -100000 for my syntax issues.
waxeater - 2008-08-27 Figuring out which keys should be used for which doors is part of the puzzle, not a problem.
Also, I only found myself needing to restart a level two or three times, and that's easily done by pressing start and exiting the level.
-3 'cause this dude's act is getting really boring.
waxeater - 2008-08-27 If you're suggesting I took away stars because I'm butthurt over the few issues he has with Braid, you're an idiot. I thought Braid was okay and I think Yahtzee is a one trick pony.
RomancingTrain - 2008-08-28 Well, yeah, you can't go through the nearer door because walking left reverses time there and that would reclose the door.

4 stars for his "games are art" faggotry, even if i disagree with him on some issues. -1 for reviewing a game that i will never have the opportunity of playing.
StanleyPain - 2008-08-27 If you have a decent PC you will probably be able to play the PC version when it comes out.

He's still good I guess, they're just not as funny as they used to be. He really is better when he's hating a game.
Syd Midnight - 2008-08-28 I'd say this is a good example of him being good when he likes the game. He doesn't do that often. Heh heh, "dick move"
Repomancer - 2008-08-27
I thought this one was hilarious and a cut above the recent crop. Best phrase: "run-shoot-kill-teabag"

The crying C64. "Minimum Shittiness Quotient". "Nicest Beaches tax". Glad to see Yahtzee is back in form for this one, now he just needs to get rid of the theme song. Yahtzee, we know your friends band made it, and it's very good ok, but PLEASE go back to snippets of topical songs.
Syd Midnight - 2008-08-28 Also, a crying C64 should be the international symbol of "needlessly complex graphics". Will people still play the game in 20 years when it looks laughably primitive?

I agree with him one hundred percent about the story. It was pretentious for pretentious' sake, and that's what 13 year olds do.
