It bugged me as a kid that this episode doesn't address Darkwing's origin at all. Then I realized the joke when they started doing various episodes which made light of the total lack of information on the subject, and one where they gave him a bunch of impossible, totally contradictory origins. Darkwing Duck's origin was the "why does Monarch hate Dr. Venture?" of the 90's.

I'd forgotten how much I admired Darkwing Duck. And how much I wanted that gun.

Now I want to play the video game again. Mega Man clone or not, it was decent.

This was probably my single favorite show when I was a kid. Though one thing still bugs me: Where did Darkwing get the money for all that crime-fighting gear? I mean he doesn;t seem to have a job outside vigilante-ism, yet he's able to maintain an extravagent crime layer in addition to a very nice suburban home.

"I always forget the milk" is one of those lines that stands the test of time. I guess.
