These people never seem to get it. Existence IS a cosmic accident. Life doesn't have any inherent meaning or logical structure. Your life in particular is not important in the grand scheme of things. You'll get over it.

Mankind is no better or worse than any other animal. Each one of our kind is born, suffers at the beck and call of others, and will one day rot in the ground. Free of worry or pain.

Okay, smartypants, two can play at that game. If you truly believe there is an invisible monster who will punish you forever if you don't love it enough, then you won't spend a single second of your life doing anything except trying to love that invisible monster. The time you spent learning to unicycle ... ? The invisible monster was no doubt watching you and deciding how to punish you for devoting some of your time to not-loving-it activities. And to be sure, all the energy you spend on trying to be smarter than atheists is energy not spent on loving the invisible monster. So I question YOUR sincerity.

I do think all life is ultimately pointless but I do things anyway because I enjoy it and I enjoy helping others, regardless of the ultimate outcome. The journey is often more important than the destination, shit-eater.
