In my opinion, no. It has a shitload of awesome elements (like this) that should add up, but don't.
The main character tries too hard to be the next Bruce
It has its moments, but it's clearly trying really, really hard to be Raimi-esque, and you can't trust anyone south of the Equator with that kind of power.
