I prefer Bob looking out from behind the bed.

Bisekrankas - 2008-05-19

I don't recall that scene, is it the one where Josie Disappears ?

FABIO2 - 2008-05-19

It was Bob's very first appearance I think. Laura's mother is sitting and she sees Bob peeking out from behind the bed post at her so she screams.

Bisekrankas - 2008-05-19

Yes, thats right, now im gonna have to look that one up.

On one of the related videos there is an interview with the actor, out of character, and it just feels wrong to see him as a normal person.

I remember when we find out that Leland is Bob. When I was in 7th grade that made me shit my pants.

Merzbau - 2008-05-19

The sequence where Leland/BOB murders Maddie is one of the most amazing things Lynch has ever done.

Chalkdust - 2008-05-19

"At several points during the filming of Twin Peaks, Lynch improvised by incorporating on-set accidents into the story. The most notable of these occurred when set decorator Frank Silva was accidentally filmed in a mirror during Sarah Palmer's vision at the end of the pilot. When David Lynch saw Silva's face, he liked it so much he kept it in the show, and cast Silva as "BOB", the mysterious tormentor of Laura Palmer."

WATCH THOSE SPOILERS, YOUNG MAN!!!!

Udderdude - 2008-05-19

Bob needs to learn some manners.

DopeFiend - 2008-05-19

Damn, that walked the line between cheesy and really creepy. Wasn't that the same dude who played the Antichrist Randall Flagg in that goddawful TV movie of The Stand?

OxygenThief - 2008-05-19

No, that's Jamey Sheridan in The Stand. Their jean jackets are quite similar.

Randroid - 2008-05-19

Taken vaguely out of context it is a bit cheesy. When you were following the actual series it was something that probably made you soil yourself.

Lothy - 2008-05-20

This scene works a lot better in context. Particularly given the way the previous five minutes of all three of them singing that weird song completely throws you for a loop, and then this creeps you the fuck out.

13.5 - 2008-05-19

What makes this shot work is the way Bob obeys the rules of the frame while ignoring all the actual spatial rules of room

Gunny McRifleson - 2008-05-19

What he said.

theSnake - 2008-05-19

AW FUCK DUDE. Is it lame to get creeped out by Twin Peaks? Color me lame. this shit scared me when I was a kid and it still does.

Cleaner82 - 2009-04-18

If David Lynch being scary is lame then I guess I'm just a big lame.

Cleaner82 - 2009-04-18

And even better when you remember that character's final scene.
