Caminante Nocturno - 2008-04-27

I haven't seen this movie yet, so I don't now if this scene is as arousing in context.

TimbolinoBilchard - 2008-04-27

For some bizzare reason this movie played in Topeka, KS, a city with only one first-run theater. Even more bizzare, it was the "sub-titled in French" version, not the dubbed version with Iggy Pop. My friend and I were the only ones in the theater when this couple walked in. When the movie started, in French, they got up and left. I like to think they chose to see Witless Protection instead.

An awesome movie, though.

Her vocals remind me of 'the worst final countdown'

glasseye - 2008-04-27

Awesome.

Ranma X. - 2008-04-27

I think the screaming is what makes it.

kingarthur - 2008-04-28

I've read Persepolis I and II and if the movie is half as good as the books it should be pretty damn awesome.

kingarthur - 2008-04-28

Also, quick question: did Marjane Satrapi provide her own voice for the movie?

mashuren - 2008-04-28

They could get the rights to do an Eye of the Tiger cover, but they couldn't use actual Iron Maiden music in the parts where she's listening to Iron Maiden? That's some bullshit.

Good movie though.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-04-28

I cannot wait to see this.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2008-04-28

This scene managed to make one of the cliched punchlines seem fresh again.

That's how awesome this movie was, even if the guy who manages to take our fair heroine's virginity shares my name and turns out to be gay

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-04-28

I've seen maybe one or two clips from this movie, have no idea what it's about, but I'd still watch it for the sake of appreciating animation. Okay, and plus it looks kinda interesting.

Oh yeah, and legwarmers always get five stars. You should know this.

Cap'n Profan!ty - 2008-04-28

i keep having to watch it again and again

Cena_mark - 2008-09-08

I saw this film, I hated it. The main character is a terrorist and the film tries to make you sympathetic to her.

Stog - 2008-09-08

Die for oil.

Harveyjames - 2008-10-24

That's a dumb way of looking at it

and life

tamago - 2009-02-11

Now I know for certain this film is awesome without even having seen it. It has to be, or why else would Cena_mark hate it?

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2009-07-25

Remember our grand ol' pal Sociopath and his "Converting Arabs into human oil?"

Yeah neither do I. That guy was like TwistedCableMK2

Spastic Avenger - 2009-12-14

You either haven't seen the movie or you are playing dumb Cena. This was a really rubbish troll.

For everybody else: the film is about Marjane Satrapi's struggle against the oppression of a radical religious post-revolutionary Iran and her repeat journeys to Europe.
