I respect this guy's passion and knowledge for astronomy, but I still cannot help but instantly think "STARFAG!" any time he is mentioned.

This guy really likes falling.

All that and not one "Let me show you!"?

KnowFuture - 2008-04-19

This little show introduced me to the music of Claude Debussy.

Isao Tomita's electronic rendition of Arabesque No. 1 and Member's Only jackets, oh how the nostalgia flows. Help us folks at home keep tabs on Mars' appearence in the night sky, Mr. Horkheimer.

I've always wondered if he gets paid for this and, if so, how much.

KnowFuture - 2008-04-19

Since it's funded by a university, I'm guessing (1) more than likely, but (2) not much.

I would so watch a show that's just a cheerful pudgy man spouting sentence fragments and flying around the universe

Thank you

My Saturday night ritual as a kid involved watching ancient episodes of "Doctor Who" followed by an episode of "Monty Python's Flying Circus" on the PBS station. The ritual wasn't complete until I caught an episode of "Star Gazer" just before the station signed off for the night.

Wow, "Doctor Who" on PBS and stations that signed off for the evening...I am really fucking old.

Same here, on every point.

Yeah me too pretty much depending on the day and my mood. Up All Night was on too which meant I could catch Satan's Cheerleaders or Hollywood Hot Tubs 2, which was very important to me.

Infinite love for Horkheimer. I was going to submit this, but I was hoping to find a clip that was a little more coherent and included the theme song. I'm glad there's so many other starhustler fans out there in poe land!

This guy made me so happy as a kid. Nobody else ever made astronomy so fabulous.
