Regarding her weight, what did you expect? She never could sing or dance, all she had was a good body. Now that she put on some weight she doesn't have anything. (Not that I'm implying that she's fat, though)

Actually, she looked fine for a woman who's had a couple kids, but a) her image was built on her being thin enough to have a six-pack and b) I suspect her costume wasn't re-tailored for her post-motherhood figure and now looked unflattering.

She gets paid to look good while entertaining stupid people. When she could no longer look good, dance, or sing her comitragic life because the people's entertainment. It's the natural way of things and the reason why she lives in a multi million dollar mansion. Don't ever feel sympathy for her because at any time she could walk away from it.

Now that you've put the idea in my head, I wanna see Shane MacGowan do this song. To be fair though, The Pogues did manage one good album post-Shane (Mahone).
