Classic!

Ironically, my Alive Parrots were amused by this sketch and begun squawking back at John Cleese.

I can't believe this isn't a dupe.

bac - 2008-04-13

I couldn't either, but I figure if someone didn't use Monty Python as a tag for it then well...this.

Oktay - 2008-04-13

not only that but it got voted down in the hopper when I submitted it a long time ago... bah!

baleen - 2008-04-13

there's a really good reason why it isn't a dupe. if you really, really think about it, maybe it will come to you.

halon - 2008-04-13

Clearly, the reason is that everyone hates it.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-04-13

Hey, if I haven't seen it, it's new to me! I really should find someone who has the whole collection and leech off them.

Crucifried - 2008-04-13

Get on with it. Get ON with it.

BHWW - 2008-04-13

It's bleedin' demised

baleen - 2008-04-13

i have an idea. why don't I rape all of you in the ass.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-04-14

That would've been the punchline if Carlos Mencia had written this sketch.

I don't know why this sketch is so famous. Most python work is much better than this, IMNSHO

SARS - 2008-04-14

This is a great clip, but really, it shouldn't have been submitted.

It's an archaic sketch that has haunted the public zeitgeist longer than a ghost bound to infinity. It is the definition of "re-run" and posting it was completely unnecessary.

HURF BLURF DUH - 2008-04-14

POE TEEVEE SERIOUS BISNESS

The McK - 2008-04-14

Fuck the haters. It's nice to remember when Python was genuinely funny and not just repeated by nerds ad nauseum. (Never in my lifetime, but hey).

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-04-14

I didn't let other people ruin this for me. I wonder what I did right?

dementomstie - 2008-04-28

I think my favorite line is "I'm sorry I have a cold" right at the beginning because while the rest of the sketch is BRILLIANT that line is just out of nowhere. He calls someone the wrong sex because he has a cold? and it's just accepted, love it. love the whole thing that's just one of those tiny lines you only really notice after reading the script they do such a good job of hiding such a weird concept.
