Classic!
Ironically, my Alive Parrots were amused by this sketch and begun squawking back at John Cleese.

I can't believe this isn't a dupe.

there's a really good reason why it isn't a dupe. if you really, really think about it, maybe it will come to you.

Hey, if I haven't seen it, it's new to me! I really should find someone who has the whole collection and leech off them.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-04-14 That would've been the punchline if Carlos Mencia had written this sketch.

I don't know why this sketch is so famous. Most python work is much better than this, IMNSHO

This is a great clip, but really, it shouldn't have been submitted.
It's an archaic sketch that has haunted the public zeitgeist longer than a ghost bound to infinity. It is the definition of "re-run" and posting it was completely unnecessary.

Fuck the haters. It's nice to remember when Python was genuinely funny and not just repeated by nerds ad nauseum. (Never in my lifetime, but hey).

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-04-14
I didn't let other people ruin this for me. I wonder what I did right?

I think my favorite line is "I'm sorry I have a cold" right at the beginning because while the rest of the sketch is BRILLIANT that line is just out of nowhere. He calls someone the wrong sex because he has a cold? and it's just accepted, love it. love the whole thing that's just one of those tiny lines you only really notice after reading the script they do such a good job of hiding such a weird concept.
