Caminante Nocturno - 2008-04-10
Did the director make this just to be a dick? The trailer has that feel to it.

I am really sick of intentionally bad/"ironic" horror movies. just because you make something bad on purpose doesn't make it good.

SARS - 2008-04-11 I agree 100%
I was never a fan of Snakes on a Plane, or any recent Grind House films. You can't make a bad movie (especially not with huge paid celebrities) for the sake of making a "bad" film, then expect a cult following. These intentional, pseudo-parodies may be some-what entertaining, but they will never hold up to a legitimate B-movie

Am I misremembering, or did that song at the end some from the MST riffing? If so, NICE.

What's funny is that the original Hobgoblins wasn't intended to be serious. The director thought he was making some WILD AND CRAZY kookball cult movie or something. But, the humor didn't really work in the direction I think he was hoping.
Now with the MST3K fame it's like he thinks doing the same shit again will be funny in some way that will make HIM look funny and brilliant, but again.....he doesn't seem to understand how the "so bad it's good" thing works.

Old_Zircon - 2011-12-24 The original cut of Hobgoblins (the MST3K pone is a lot shorter) is intensely bad.
