I remember they did a commercial once where they redid the lyrics to "Secret Agent Man" so it was about Kirby stealing peoples' powers. It was done by the same guy that did this, I think.

I have watched this show and it is fucking genius. You better fucking believe that King Dedede has a Cajun accent, and you better fucking believe even harder that he is assisted by a gay snail with the voice of Paul Lynde.

Will Kirby-loving children recognize the voice of Paul Lynde as a snail? Will even their parents recognize the voice of Paul Lynde as a snail? No, and in this truth is the jewel of Kirby's greatness.

In twenty years, they're going to be dubbing anime snails to sound like Stephen Colbert and Jack Black.

Just you wait, it'll happen.

If you're so great, Kirby, why can't you get that pointer off the screen?

Anyway, this gets five stars for being a cartoon theme song that isn't rife with electric guitars and rappers.

I saw an episode of this once. It was terrible. Cheap-ass 2D animation combined with terribly cheap 3D animation. It felt like they took some random 2D cartoon and then later pasted Kirby characters in on top of the actual protagonists and villains.

This was four stars right up until the "of course there's a cartoon" tag.

I miss this show a little.
