and a killer is born.

kudos to the kid for not being a total spoiled brat and a big fuck you to the parents for being general assholes.

baleen - 2008-03-01

The description says that he would post Part II where they present the child with the actual X-Box. I guess it's plausible, but even so it's a really fucked up thing to do to a little boy, and just because he "peaked" at the present it's no excuse to ruin his Christmas. I can't imagine what I'd do if my parents pulled something like this on me at that age. Probably just spend the rest of the day in my room drawing wars.

RockBolt - 2008-03-01

I don't know, to me that looks like a reaction to getting something that you really really wanted but your parents repeatedly told they couldn't get it for some reason or another, not something you already knew your were getting

RockBolt - 2008-03-01

We can't afford an xbox! So we thought we'd just totally fuck with you instead! Cry into the camera, ahaha

mouser - 2008-03-02

I actually feel for the kid. It's a fucking cruel thing to do.

Millard - 2008-03-01

Buckwheat has every reason to be pissed off.

Dinky Patterson - 2008-03-01

Is it too much for the people with front page privileges to look through the Hopper before they submit a current video? I put this in yesterday with all the right tags and descriptions.

Quad9Damage - 2008-03-01

"Look at the camera and cry."

Someone, anyone, tell me this isn't real.

Cinnamon Imperialist - 2008-03-01

Boooo Hopper poaching.

sosage - 2008-03-01

I didn't realize this was in the Hopper...so...yeah...sorry that I accidentally stole someone's internet thunder.

Adramelech - 2008-03-01

These people have no idea how a child's mind works and should probably be shot just to be safe.

Michael Houser - 2008-03-01

This hopper cock-blocking business is why I stopped submitting videos to POE, since it got royally frustrating, and taught me the futility of getting too caught-up in the screwy machinations of a website. I'm much happier not submitting to the Hopper and using my previous knowledge to enhance the humor of the commentary.
Hyuk!

Vicious - 2008-03-02

Like you're doing right now?

erratic - 2008-03-02

Yikes...that was more difficult to watch than the documentary about the two planes crashing in the canary is. and Michael, I almost quit posting to the hopper altogether, not because of poaching, but because most of my vids get 5+ votes....BUT NEVER SHOW UP ON THE FRONT PAGE! but seriously, the commentary is the best thing about poetv

baleen - 2008-03-02

Yeah there's some serious technical fucking probs. I don't even look at the hopper anymore anyway. I don't understand why videos are just auto-popped over to the front page when they hit a certain # of votes anyway. Doesn't make any sense.

Sean Robinson - 2008-03-02

More important than a video going up is getting credit for a video going up because frequent submitters stand to get millions of dollars for their incredibly strenuous efforts in finding something on Youtube.

I want to swing a ski at your throat.

CornOnTheCabre - 2008-03-02

This kid should be grateful, he's just been given carte blanche to stick his parents in the cheapest, most disgusting retirement home ever if he manages to keep them alive past 60.

Bone_Vulture - 2008-03-02

That actually made me feel better.

kingarthur - 2008-03-02

That child is a model of how to accept this sort of crushing humiliation with as much nobility as a man can muster. We could all take some lessons.

Camonk - 2008-03-02

He's provided guilt fuel for the rest of his life. "Oh yeah, Mom? Remember that time you tricked me at christmas?"

citrusmirakel - 2008-03-02

Don't worry kid, the 360 would have just broke anyway.

RomancingTrain - 2008-03-02

I wish the biological imperative to be good to yours kids were as strong as the one to have them

Mayberry Pancakes - 2008-03-16

amen

TheOtherCapnS - 2008-03-02

So according to the youtube description, they got him a 360, the kid found the present before xmas while he was snooping around, so this is what they did. Then they actually give it to him later. That's actually pretty good.

StanleyPain - 2008-03-02

Which would explain why the kid doesn't even seem really surprised about the 360.

Quad9Damage - 2008-03-02

I thought it was silent shock and horror rather than a lack of surprise. I can't say for sure. I'm not watching this video again.

Gwago - 2008-03-02

Holy crap, poor kid. That's a mental breakdown on film right there.

delicatessen - 2008-03-02

Come on. Life will eventually deal a child a crushing existential blow. Why not do it in a controlled environment among family and friends?

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-03-03

I approve wholeheartedly of this, if the story behind it is true.

Kids who snoop around for Xmas gifts should be pranked in ways like this WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

Also "Don't you like the box? It's a nice box!"

Urburos - 2009-03-29

I don't. I peeked at a present once and thought it was my N64 I'd been begging for.

Christmas day comes and I find out it's a genesis 32x adapter. Research that shit. Most useless piece of gaming technology ever. I didn't even own a sega genesis.

Frank Rizzo - 2008-03-04

thats some mad niggerish shit there.

Alektorophobic - 2008-03-06

2:32 HAMBEAST SIGHTING

TheInternetisFullofGenitals - 2015-12-03

That kid is going to grow up hating niggers.
