I saw this as a kid and it left a permanent mark on me. However, my memory blocked out the animals and thought that it was made by disney.

I saw this after a GI Joe cartoon and the next day I saw "Hellraiser." That tells you a lot about how I turned out, I think.

I had been trying to remember the title of this cartoon for years. I described it to friends with he two parts that I remembered clearly, the animals in the ruined church and the two gas mask clad soldiers killing each other. Thank you so much for posting this.

The reason it looks so 30's Disney is that Harman and Ising were Ex-Disney animators themselves.
