As much as RML rules im sick of this fucked up cartoon nationalism. If i have to listen to one more Asshole banging on about HOW AWESOME AND MATURE some barely remembered cartoon was and HOW PEOPLE DARED MORE IN THE 90'S its Jew-Gi-Oh for me. No The Animaniacs were not mature just because they had Bill Clinton in the intro.
In the case of this show, I think it has more to do with what the Nickelodeon censors didn't catch, or otherwise let go. RML had masturbation jokes, allusions to gay sex, rampant innuendo at every turn, scatological humor and references to movies that only the most apathetic parents in the world would have let their children watch. The studio didn't seem to give a damn until about the third season.
