Wow this sure is boring. 1 star for the naming, I guess.

Evilhead - 2007-12-15

One-starring Ulillillia?! Shame on you!!

FABIO2 - 2007-12-15

The Bubsy 3D secrets were kind of mezmorizingly OCD. This is just completely worthless aside from the 6 seconds of naming in a 9 minute long clip.

Evilhead - 2007-12-15

Well, you have to go to YouTube and watch the whole thing. If you are fascinated by the human being known as Ulillillia it's a godsend, although his other videos are more action-packed. Still, there are highlights, like when he breaks from his deadpan to crack up about shooting a blowgun off screen in part six, along with other gems.

Also, if you haven't already, check out his game. I tried to encourage him to post a walkthrough video about it but he's reworking the whole thing and a new version should be out in a while. Still, it's an awesome look into his mind, and actually a pretty interesting game. I hope he gets it together to complete his 3D game, as it's looking amazing at this point. Check his site for more info/screenshots.

FABIO2 - 2007-12-15

Eh, submit the highlights here and I'll promise at least 4 stars then.

fluffy - 2008-11-21

The highlights are the whole freaking thing.

Aelric - 2007-12-15

i used to five star him, but he's getting old fast. if he isn't gonna get out of the house and start making a living doing voices for cartoons, than i'd rather not see him at all.

Evilhead - 2007-12-15

Ulillillia can't leave the house because of mirrors, stairs, and blue water.

Aelric - 2007-12-15

i know, and there in lies the tragedy.

RomancingTrain - 2007-12-15

I did it. I watched the whole fucking thing. All 20 parts. It looks like an awful game.

He named the character High because he likes high places.

Nixoleon - 2007-12-15

People like this are why Poe exists. Sorry I couldn't get the multiple-submission to work.

cognitivedissonance - 2007-12-15

I'll name this one "High", because I like high places.

kingarthur - 2007-12-15

2:22, mind blown.

Hooper_X - 2007-12-15

I'm watching this and my fiancee looks over and goes "Wow, that guy really DOES have Aspergers."

abeli$con - 2007-12-15

good lord you are a fag

ihounokyaku - 2007-12-15

Five stars.

KnowFuture - 2007-12-15

My favorite computer RPG series (well, one of them ported for the NES anyway) + Ulillillia = AWESOME FOREVER.

Monchiles Monchiles - 2007-12-15

As part of the walkthrough to beating the game, he suggests grinding for TWENTY HOURS to get 88,000 gold at level one.

Feyd - 2007-12-15

The sad part is, he's not even good at this game. You should have two fighters, a cleric, and a wizard. You should mini-max their primary stats. Rangers seem neat at first, but totally suck in the end-game. Also you should keep a 4-man party of permanently level 1 dudes to travel the overland map. I uh, played this a lot as a kid.

FABIO2 - 2007-12-19

Were fighters the only ones who could use blowguns? I remember you needed those, plus healing, plus the spells that let you travel up and down dungeon floors.

EvilHomer - 2007-12-15

I've only made it to part 9 so far, but I'm gamely soldiering on. If U can spend a solid day walking back and forth, casting "Repel" and "Undead" and NOTHING else, simply to max out his gold, then I can finish a two hour walkthrough. My favorite part? U's squeals of delight whenever he intentionally shoots a blowgun dart in the wrong direction.

Adramelech - 2007-12-15

Dude's a legend and pretty much represents the purest essence of PoE. Also stands as a stark reminder of what most cases of actual HFA/Aspergers are like in the face of trendy self diagnosis.

Corman's Inferno - 2007-12-15

pull-addin

Herr Matthias - 2007-12-15

Argh. If any games ever were made by, for, and about Aspergers cases, the early Ultima games were it. And the NES renditions were horrible, too.

I like how Ullillia helpfully points out all of the things that obviously were not in the instruction manual.

Rabid Vegan - 2007-12-16

Oh god, part 18...

"You'll spend a good half hour healing. I've included a good chunk of this just to give you an idea."

Syd Midnight - 2007-12-19

^^^ Oh my god, that is a beautiful line.

FABIO2 - 2008-02-19

I remeber 75% of this game was walking waiting for your cleric's magic to regenerate, because it was the only way to heal. This caused your food to get used up, which made you buy more, which ate up your money, which made you go fight more monsters, which caused you to need to heal again, etc etc etc.

APE_GOD - 2010-03-29

Well, if you WOULD HAVE WATCHED this walkthrough you would KNOW that by hitting the 'b' button the world map you can cycle through the lunar month, making time go faster and increasing your MP.

drcrypt - 2007-12-18

I mentioned this on POE, but something just occurred to me: if you check this video out (http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=25561), Ulillillia makes clear that he slows down all his music because he finds it more pleasing. I'm pretty sure he's doing the same to his voice for these videos.

Syd Midnight - 2007-12-19

He will listen to the same videogame theme for several days in a row, constantly, while trying out slightly different speeds until he finds a pleasing one. He is too good for this world.
