So pretty early on humans are wiped out, all either dead or converted to toilet hybrids. I'm assuming the camera-heads are AI machines created by humans before their expiration to fight the toilet menace.
Both the toilets and camera-heads are capable of innovation and adaptation, advanced tech or bio-tech. They then wage an ever escalating war for an interminable about of time.. I wonder how much time has passed between episode 1 and 47, decades, centuries?
